Smiles, pride, and a sense of accomplishment filled the room as 10 individuals graduated from Jobs Week at StepUp Durham last week!
Many started the week feeling anxious and ended it feeling prepared, motivated, and energized. As one participant shared, “There’s good energy in the room, good energy in the people.”
After a week of working with our staff and volunteers strengthening resumes, practicing interview skills, and identifying resources to overcome employment barriers, they’re now ready for Step2—where the real growth continues through personal, financial, career, and leadership development.
