StepUp Durham Volunteer Awarded 2022 CVS Grant

A huge thank you to StepUp Durham volunteer Natalie Woodland of Aetna/CVS Health for her efforts in securing grants for StepUp Durham.

We want to congratulate her for being selected as a 2022 CVS Health Individual Fundraising Challenge Grant recipient!

She was able to apply for this grant through her employer to support the work of StepUp Durham, an organization she has volunteered with for 2.5 years now. This is the second grant she has been awarded to support StepUp Durham. In 2021, she was awarded a $500 grant. We are so grateful to her, the CVS Health Foundation, and this unique way volunteers can support StepUp Durham. If you volunteer with StepUp Durham or another great community organization, we encourage you to ask your employer if they offer initiatives that include a grant opportunity for those charitable organizations that employees are volunteering with, and matching employee charitable gift donations. Both of these programs and the assistance they provide go a long way in supporting the great work of local nonprofits.
