April, StepUp Durham Justus Cohort Member and keynote speaker at last year’s IMPACT23 event received a @wheels4hope vehicle.

I have been a staff member now for the past eight months. I must say that this has been a wonderful, wonderful experience as I was introduced to StepUp as a participant.

Beginning at the age of 22, Ed spent over 13 years on death row for 2 murders that he did not commit.

Ronald says, “Working 7 hours a day, and then having to walk a mile after getting off a bus just to get home … this means I don’t have to do that no more.”

I heard about StepUp Durham in April 2023, shortly after coming home from prison.
